About the project

BOB is a citizen science project, coordinated by CREA - Council for Agricultural Research and Economics- and University of Parma, aimed at studying ethological traits of stag beetles, through direct observations in nature performed by volunteers. Thanks to the training materials, and technological support, everyone will be able to contribute to mapping the behaviors of this beetle!
In the project BOB, we would like to collaborate with you in an interactive way, creating a network of volunteers actively involved in field activities for the observation of insect ethology. To us, citizen science is based on an active collaboration between research and society, in which everyone can contribute expertise and is enhanced.
